The app is a beer app that measures how full your beer is when it is severed from your favorite pub. You can select from several different glass types and then align the top of the glass with the top of the glass in the app. Slide the beer level to match the beer level in your glass and the app will tell you how full it is. As it turns out, the majority of the volume in a standard US pint glass is in the relatively small height in the top part of the glass. In fact, if a beer is poured to within about 1/2 inch from the top, 13% of the beer is GONE. If the beer is poured to about one inch from the top of the glass, an astonishing 25% of the beer is missing from your pint.
The UK federal government insists that anyone who claims to be selling a pint had better pour a full Imperial
