I have designed my scene as a .PSD in photoshop, but was wondering if there is an easy way of getting the individual layers into Corona? I know I could manually do it but I can’t find a way to get Photoshop (or Fireworks for that matter) to display the XY coordinates of each object. I have had a google around but can’t find anything useful - unless I’m just using the wrong search criteria.
It’s a bit old now, but I’ve used this “Fireworks to Corona” exporter and it works nicely. I just checked the download link and it’s still functional, but I’m not sure if it’s been updated in quite some time (thus, it might not work with the latest version of Fireworks).
Otherwise, I believe the “official” Photoshop to Corona tool is Kwik. There’s a “lite” version bundled with Corona, located in the application directory folder “Tools”. And here’s the website:
I purchased Kwik some time ago to make layout and design fast but I saw that it didnt use storyboard but director? I stopped using Director some time ago because storyboard was recconed as “di-facto” and native to Corona Api hmmmmm. But Its awesome for layout purpose and its really just some cut and paste into storyboard and then youre up again (not shure if this is still the same in newest version.) there are plenty small scripts that prints cords after draging and placing displayObjects on the screen in the repository
