"Pirate Blast" app approved!

Hey! I’m very excited. My First app “Pirate Blast” has been approved, it will hit the app store on 14th March.

Let me know what you think :slight_smile:

It’s a pretty simple game. Ginger Joe gets shot out of a cannon. You must tilt the device to maneuver him to collect the coins and avoid the hazards - snapping sharks, whirling cannon balls and floating barrels of rum. Just a bit of fun really.

I’ve got the measure of programming in Lua and some great ideas I wanna try out and I can’t wait to start my next project.

To answer your question. When I submitted the app I gave a tentative release date of the 14th, assuming the review process would take roughly 2 weeks.
Thought about changing it now the app’s been approved but I was scared that making this change would end up putting it back through the review process. Maybe I’m wrong but I couldn’t stand the thought of going through that again right now.

Can some shed some light on this for me? Would it be ok for me to bring the release date forward now the app’s been approved?

If you’re approved, you’re ready to go. I was playing around with the release date and other metadata 48 hours before my game went live, so I don’t think you’re at risk at all.
