Pistons, again...

Just wondering if there is a way to get an object attached to a piston to be forceably fixed to the piston axis? I see with a simple demo that objects can be pushed off the axis, though they do return. Is there any way to get them to be ridgedly attached, though freely move up and down the axis?

I’ve also noticed that the anchor object is excluded from the collision detection system once it has the piston joint applied. Is this right or a bug?
