pitch and panning for audio

I’m developping audio-based games for the blind. A feature which is missing from audio is to be able to adjust the pitch and panning of a sound. Both these features are heavily used when making games for the blind since objects are presented in a purely auditory environment. Is this something that could be worked on? I second this request. Of all these advanced audio session features coming out for Corona, I’m still scratching my head as to when I can pan a mono sound file to the left or right (or even 3D since OpenAL supports it).

Please implement panning, and pitch, soon! [import]uid: 6084 topic_id: 11160 reply_id: 41173[/import]

+1 for this one also [import]uid: 7911 topic_id: 11160 reply_id: 41179[/import]

+1 for this also. The lack of more advanced audio support is what is keeping me from purchasing Corona at this time. [import]uid: 24449 topic_id: 11160 reply_id: 41566[/import]

+1 for being able to change the pitch for sure. Any idea when added OpenAL support and pitch control will be available for Corona? I have an immediate need to pitch shift audio in an app.

I know in AS3 you can pitch shift. Anyone have any idea if the air iphone export supports this? [import]uid: 27060 topic_id: 11160 reply_id: 41961[/import]
