Placing images on screen (Resource location?)

Hi all,

I don’t normally comment on forums and this is my first time, hopefully I make sense and don’t do to bad,

Here it goes!

I recently bought the book to learn carona sdk :carona sdk mobile game development,

Iv been working trough it for a few days and have learnt alot however i’m at a stand still, iv got to page 57 were it says:

Time for action - placing images on screen

1 Fist off, create a new project folder on your desktop, (iv done this part)

2 In the chapter 2 resources folder, copy the glassbg.png and moon.png image files and the config.lua file into your Display Objects folder.

I’m not sure were to locate these resources it mentions, is there a link I should follow or is it within the SDK simulator if so can you tell me were to look, I appreciate you taking your time to read this and all help will be appreciated and I will try to help you back

Hi @jamal.al-azzawe.  First it looks like you may have posted this twice. To protect from spam, we don’t let your first post go through until an admin approves it.  It’s understandable to miss the first post being held, just keep in mind, please don’t post the same question multiple times going forward.

Now for your questions.

There are multiple books on the market that teach you how to use Corona SDK.  These are all done by third party people and we don’t know how all of the books work. Many physical books used to have a CD or DVD in the back that you could copy the assets from. Many books today have those samples online somewhere. The book should tell you where you can get the samples from. It’s not something we host here at Corona Labs.
