Was the subject good enough to get you here? Good! Every once in awhile, a very, very good tutorial comes along that helps the Corona community.

In this case, OZ Apps is offering to write a tutorial about Plants vs. Zombies clone, if he can get to 500 Twitter followers. So, let’s go Corona Community! Let’s get OZ Apps 500 followers! @ozapps

Maybe you should tell OZ Apps to write the tutorial if he truly wants to help the community then maybe he will get MORE than 500 followers. A lot of people devote their time on here without asking for anything in return.

You’re right PL4YER… Maybe I was wrong, I do not need numbers (Quantity) and yes there are plenty of folks that can and are doing a wonderful job and not asking for anything in return, other than getting paid or selling their templates and bossing over these forums. I think it is time for the kids that have grown up to take over.

I went off this forum due to the behaviour of certain individuals, which I see has still not changed.

I am sure there will be other ways for the ones that need help that I can help, as they know how to reach me and they get their help /advice.

No Worries Sid, no offense taken. Actually what you said as I mentioned made me realise that I do not need numbers (quantity) I love to help/teach (I have been an academic at the University) so I will but only to the ones that really ask for help in learning.

I will keep you included on the list for alternatives on that tutorial.

Yeah, when I read Daniel’s post, I was thinking he was talking about someone else on a different site and I made my comment. As you know, I just signed up on the other site a few days ago and even though I am a member here for over a year, it was just about a week ago that I came back to the forum so I shouldn’t even have opened my mouth to begin with not knowing who is who. I know you help people and I see it here and the other forum.

I’ve been waiting a little for this to come up as even if I don’t want to create a game like this I find there are very interesting mechanics in a game like Plants vs Zombies and even with that it’s fairly easy to code and useful to learn.

So I couldn’t wait anymore… A couple days ago I got in touch with my good friend Peach Pellen and we worked together to make this little template.

It’s great that people like me, new to the scene can get so much help and support. Before I found Corona I was always nervous to ask questions in other forums because I thought that the more experienced wouldn’t give me the time of day.
