Yes I will say this again updating your corona sdk to the newest version will solve this problem or use a mac to build your apk but if you are a pc user just uninstall the old version and download the latest version hope this help:)

This was fixed before the public build 1202. If you are using an older version, please upgrade to at least 1202.

It’s true build 1202 fixes the problem. Unfortunately, my code runs on 2011.704a or earlier. Builds after 704a cause my game to have physics problems. I’ll see if I can update my game code to work correctly with 1202.
Yes you may need to update your code because when I first updated my corona sdk I had some scaling issues on some divices so I had to use contentWidth/2 and contenHight/2 to sacle backgound properly so yes you may need to update some of your code
When a vendor changes something that requires us to change, the only choice is for us to fix it in the next build. We can’t make Google go back and undo this.
