Hello, this is the first app ive released on the play store, so im still pretty new to how the google play console works but has this happened to anyone else
Ill release an update, the online website version of the play store shows the updated version but the app version of the play store doesnt show the latest version, its been a few days now.
Any ideas?
There are certain rules and protocols that you have to follow while publishing your app on play store. From August 2018, new apps and app updates will need to target a recent Android API level to ensure mobile app development using the latest APIs optimized for additional security and flawless performance. In addition to that, the Google Play Store will start adding a modest amount of security metadata on top of each APK for further validation of the app authenticity. If you upload a new APK, you have to activate it. How Google Play’s developer portal work is way beyond the scope for us to provide answers. Google is constantly redesigning that website and it’s impossible for us to keep up with them. I would do various web searches about releasing a new APK file to the public.
