I’m making an audio player and I want it to be able to play music in the background, as in most audio players, that is, when you exit the application, its data is not cleared, and a notification appears with buttons to control the music being played.
As of 2016, this was not possible, and I don’t believe any work has been done in that direction since then. (There’s a workaround for iOS, but nothing for Android.)
