Plugin warning dialog when offline

Is there anyway I can disable this warning on the Corona simulator on OSX and just use the cached plugin code?

I am going to be on a cruise ship without internet for the next two weeks, and this message popping up every time I save and relaunch, meaning I have to click ‘continue anyway’ each time, is going to drive me crazy.

It’s also annoying when you’re using mobile tethering on a train and the signal is up and down, it might take a minute for it to give up trying to download plugins and show the dialog.

Took my own advice and had one final attempt to google this.

You can comment out the plugins in build.settings while working offline. However, it would be nice for the simulator to just ignore plugins when you have no internet connection.

+1, agree, am often in same situation, a “work offline” checkbox would be handy (if it can’t be silenced automatically when no network) still warning in console would be ok, but stop the popups

+1 too…  especially as the popup is not focused (on windows) so can’t be dismissed with a simple keyboard press!

This is one of the items on the roadmap for Q3:

  • Cache plugins for Simulator builds.
