I see with the new price change there is a Plugins checkmark. What exactly is a Corona Plugin?

Plugins are a way that we can allow 3rd parties to build extensions to Corona that have to be compiled (not a simple Lua file that can be required).  As an example the Apple iAds is an example plugin.  It’s pretty new and in beta testing now, but it will be very cool and a powerful, quick way to expand the product.

Thanks, I suggest giving a list of plugins on the website because to most, it would mean nothing without an explanation.
