Just for the record. I “had” transparency on Android 1.5 in Beta 7. Beta 8 just crash in Android 1.5 for the same project that worked in Beta 7 (submitted in the “issues” report). But the transparency was there. [import]uid: 3686 topic_id: 1829 reply_id: 5439[/import]

I just created an app for iPhone 3 and 4 that uses a PNG with transparency and it works fine with Beta 8. Can you send the PNG and code that demonstrates the problem?

Update:
I was using old 8-bit png graphics (“old” as in it was created using a very very old version of Corel :). I reprocess the graphics in 24 bits and the transparency now works fine.
The thing is that the old graphic’s transparency works fine on Android 1.5, but it shows in black color on the iPhone.
It seems it not a big issue now if using nowadays paint software. Thank you Tom and Carlos
