Unimpressed with my results from AdMob, I’ve implemented iAds by modifying the appropriate sections of a Corona template I bought from a vendor. All it seemed to require was my app’s id in the App Store, then commenting in a few lines of code in a build_settings file. I’ve chosen not to create a campaign to promote my own app at this time.
In my app, iAds banners work fine, but most of the time it just shows the standards blue iAds banner that says: “You’re connected to iAd - Learn More”, which then switches to a red background that says “Drive Downloads Faster”.
Is this normal behavior? I don’t want my users seeing these one boring ad 90% of the time. When it’s not showing this standard ad, it shows an ad for a dating app.
Which leads me to my next question: How do you block sensitive ads categories, like the Dating apps?
Thank you in advance for your help!
