Android apps developed using corona sdk is not obeying power saving modes in my mobile - Lenovo P-70A. The same apps obey correctly in other phones - I have not checked it on another same model mobile. What could be wrong…? All other apps are ok with the same mobile, stock apps, downloaded as well as developed with Android Studio, etc. but not corona sdk app…

Can you be more specific in how Corona SDK apps aren’t obeying the power saving modes on that device. Also, what version of Android are you using?
on my phone the display will be dimmed after 15 seconds ( for example), but if an app built by corona is running, it will not dim at all even after hours.
But the same app on other phones have no problem… any way I will restore the phone to factory reset…

Is your phone running Android 5.1 by chance? In daily build 2015.2718 a change was introduced that disables the idle timer on Android 5.1.X devices to work around some OS issues with suspending apps. This may be what you’re running into.
