Prank call type app?

Is Corona capable of doing a Prank Call type app?

So basically make a call and the app sounds can be heard down the phone line.

I tried making a call, putting the phone on loud speaker, launching my app while still in the call and although I can hear my app, the person on the other end of the phone can’t (well can but it’s very quiet).

Any ideas?

I could be wrong, but most phones have a speaker (speakerphone), another speaker (ear piece) and a microphone (usually near the bottom).

I don’t believe you can ‘direct’ sound to the microphone without using the main speaker as it’s the main speaker that outputs sound. The microphone is input only.

You can’t do this with Corona SDK. It might be possible with Enterprise.

Hi,

Presume I could do it with Swift and Corona Cards?

The prank call type stuff in Swift and the rest in Corona, the app is basically a soundboard, little game and hopefully a prank call section. I have done the soundboard and game in Corona but could easily do the soundboard in Swift and then just need to use Corona Cards to call the game in.

But wasn’t sure if Corona Cards was still a thing as not much happening in the forum.

CoronaCards is still a thing, but Enterprise may be a better choice.
