Problem with a custom font

Hi all,

I am having issues loading a custom font into Corona.

I have used custom fonts before and failure with the process and have tested the code I have with a font I used previously so I know the code is all correct. When searching for the font (step 2 on this tutorial: http://www.coronalabs.com/blog/2011/07/13/custom-fonts-corona/) it doesnt pick it up.

The font I am trying to use is downloadable here: http://fortawesome.github.com/Font-Awesome/

I have tried both the ttf and otf versions. also tried convertings the ttf to oft and oft to ttf without much luck.

Anything else I can try to get this working with corona?

Wish I had some advice but I’ve historically had no luck loading custom fonts, particularly on the Windows install of Corona. There’s just no return info on why some fonts work and some don’t, so sometimes you just have to try different ones until something works… [import]uid: 41884 topic_id: 34748 reply_id: 138106[/import]
