problem with a test account on my tablet

I create my test account on my tablet and when i try to install my .apk on it i have this error message : “application not installed”… and that’s all ;-(

In my primary account the application works fine…

why ?

Hi @contact66. This is the kind of post where we want to help you but we really can’t because of a lack of information. You need to provide us a lot more data before anyone can do anything more than make a wild guess. Please provide us:

The build of Corona SDK you are using.
What device are you using?
What version of Android are you using?
If it’s a phone who is the Carrier?
Are you using any plugins?
What information is in your console log? If you don’t know how to get that information, please read: http://www.coronalabs.com/blog/2013/07/09/tutorial-basic-debugging/

This last one is critical. There may be sufficient information in the console log that you could solve this on your own. Please provide us this info.

In the mean time, try building one of our sample apps and try installing it.

The question is :

Why i can’t install my .apk on a test account on my asus tf300t (android 4.2.1) when a friend of mine can install the same .apk on his webphone ?

I can, also, install my app on my primary account on my tablet !

This is so weird…

I think it’s a problem of rights, and not because of corona

Could it be a setting on the device? Like “Install application from untrusted sources” or something similar…

in parameters => security => Install application from untrusted sources the checkbox is already checked…

I’m going to come back and ask that you provide some information. And this is why: When Google introduced secondary accounts, we had to fix some things. The version of Corona that you’re running is important. There are very likely important messages in your console log.

How are you installing the app?

I installed the software as the current account : i transfer it in a directory by usb, i click on the app icon, i click on “install” and… on the current account… it works fine !

Can you give us a the step by step instructions on how to recreate this problem including how you create this test account.
