Problems to Install an app in my iphone 3G OS 4.1

Hi there, I need a help to install an App in my Iphone 3G OS 4.1. I’m developing a game for IOS, and now I want to create a build that work in this iphone. When I try to install my game in my iphone, it show me a message that say: “Incorrect Architecture”. What does mean ? How do I do to operate my application in the Iphone?

I have the last version of Xcode. My game work on it, but when I try to pass my game to my iphone, it show me a message “Incorrect Architecture”. How can I get a solution to this?

Please, is my first time that I do this and my first application that I do in Corona for IOS. I want to see my game in my Iphone!!!

Thanks for all that can help me out of this problem.

Corona does not support this so old iOS version as I know.

I think that you should get a newer iDevice or better, some that runs the iOS 4.3 (at least) by this time.

Hello, is there a way to know which iOS versions are compatible with my game? I build with Corona 2012.840. I’ve tested on iPad 3 and it works fine but I don’t know what happens with earlier iOS versions (iPhone-iPad). When submitting to the App Store do I have to manually define the supported iOS or is this done automatically somehow? Any help would be appreciated! @elvo ,

Regarding your questions:

  • When submitting to the App Store do I have to manually define the supported iOS or is this done automatically somehow?

  • Its done automatically by depending on which Corona build youre using. BTW, as I know, the build 840 does support until version 4.3 of iOS (minimum).

So, any iDevice running iOS 4.3 or above will be able to run your actual app built with the Corona`s build 840.
