Problems with building and testing iOS app

In our other Mac (10.9) I have installed Corona 2013.1244 (2013.10.25). When I try to build the app, there no dropdown “iOS SDK”. I also tried the latest public release.

Xcode 5.01 and iPhone Configuration Utility 3.5 are installed.

Don’t know if this have something to do with the fact that EVERY time I try to install the app to the iPhone, iPhone Configuration Tools just crashes.

Same Corona app work perfectly in other Mac…

Any ideas?

Can you provide some screen shots?

Here is one. Let me know if you need more.

Do you have the other one that’s behaving like you expect it to?

This is the working Mac.

Starting with a daily build 1214, we switched to the iOS7 as the default SDK.  Apple builds for the past two OS’s, so the iOS7 SDK builds for iOS 7, iOS 6 and iOS 5.

When Apple is ready to release a new OS, we have it set to allow you to build against the beta of the new OS or production of the current OS.  Once the new OS goes live and after we’ve tested things on our end, we make the live OS the only one.

So this is expected behavior.  You should not have a drop down on any daily build after 1214 until Apple releases a new Beta line of OS’s.

Thanks! I installed 1181 version of Corona and iOS SDK dropdown is there now. But do I need it? I’m still a bit confused… What build I should use, if I’m developing an iOS app?

Unfortunately this didn’t affect the main problem. Still every time I try to install the app to the iPhone, iPhone Configuration Utility Crashes. Here is the error code. You can find the iPhones Console log from the attachments.

Process:         iPhone Configuration Utility [6922] Path:            /Applications/Utilities/iPhone Configuration Utility.app/Contents/MacOS/iPhone Configuration Utility Identifier:      com.apple.iPhoneConfigurationUtility Version:         3.5 (289) Build Info:      MobileConfigUtility-289000000000000~1 Code Type:       X86-64 (Native) Parent Process:  launchd [173] Responsible:     iPhone Configuration Utility [6922] User ID:         502

Well unless there is a reason you need the older version (1202 is the latest public release and 1244 is the current Graphics 1.0 daily build), I’m not sure why you would want to use the older version.  I would use 1244.

There there considerable bug fixes between the two including some important iOS 7 fixes.  You don’t need to have that drop down present to build apps.

I don’t have much experience with the utility you are using to load the app.  I recommend using XCode’s organizer to install your apps.
