Program to do simple game trailer with?

Hi,

I’m after a program that lets me do simple movie editing and does fancy text effect and visual effects. What would you suggest to do so?

I’m aware of giants of video editing, but I rather something intended mostly for casual game trailer visuals.

Thanks for the reply, I prefer Mac OS X but I have access to Winddows as well.

I always use iMovie
I know that doesn’t help you much sorry
Maybe it’s time for me to look around also
