Progress on Android? Documentation for 2.0... And license...

OK so I just spent an hour and built my first “basic” Android app. Awesome.

Unfortunately, some core/basic features are still missing… as noted in the beta 5 documentation:
• Orientation events
• Camera
• Network
• Multiline text fields
• Text input with keyboard
• Webpopups

Question:

  1. Are these all going to be coming to Android before 2.0 becomes “release”? I pretty much need every one of these for any Android app I create…
  2. Any chance you’d extend the license expiration date to 1 year from when 2.0 becomes “release”? I’m primarily targeting Android apps - but without the above featureset, my apps would be quite limited. Just asking…
  3. It seems the most “up-to-date” documentation is the 2.0 Beta 5 PDF that comes with Corona, and not what is online (i.e. system orientation has no mention of Android online; it’s mentioned in very basic form in the PDF)

Otherwise - wow, Corona is quite awesome!

Looking forward to the above features to be added to Android, hopefully VERY soon!

We are working hard to get Android parity with the iPhone version and add the “missing” features.
