Hello hammod,
Thanks a lot for the reply. At this point in time, my main goal is to get the word out. Because for a project such as this one, you need the user-base, otherwise, it’d fail. So this Kickstarter for me is an opportunity to tell people about this project and get feedback regarding how to improve it.
The majority of the feedback I’ve been receiving so far is that the Kickstarter does not make sense or many people have no idea what the project is trying to accomplish. I’ll admit that I tried going a bit too much into details and it ended up confusing a lot of people. I’ll be releasing another video on Wednesday, of me doing a Q&A of sorts, that should make things a lot simpler to grasp. The text below is a transcript of what I will be explaining in my new video. Let me know if it makes a bit more sense or if there is anything else to add/remove. Thanks a lot for taking your time to help me.
The Problem
Many of us want to be in the spotlight for various reasons.
Maybe you want to tell your story to the world.
Or you want to promote your new game, launch your musical career, or even tell people about your Kickstarter.
But it’s such a saturated market and it has become increasingly difficult for people to notice you.
What sets Promonym apart?
Whereas in many other services, you get advertised for a price,
Promonym wants you to get in the spotlight by playing a game.
And your victory will depend on your own hard work and effort.
It’s all about first impressions.
In Promonym you will have 10 seconds to pitch your profile to a Decision Maker or DMer who is just another player like yourself.
Your profile consists of your Facebook Profile name, Picture and what you entered in the “About You” section of your facebook Profile.
If the DMer or Decision Maker likes your idea, you get 1 point. If not, you get 0 point.
What’s truly special about Promonym is that the DMer gets 1 point for his own effort.
You will be a DMer yourself making decisions about others’ profiles while they also make decisions about your own Profile.
So your success is not limited to other players’ opinions of your profile.
But you earn points yourself for rating the profiles of other players.
Your Goal
Your goal as a DMer is to become one of the top 7 weekly players with the most points.
By doing so you get the title of “Promonym” and your Profile is displayed at a higher frequency to other players.
In addition, Your Profile will be in the spotlight during The Parade.
