Provisioning & Building: Issue with Showing Provisioning Files

Im reading the Provisioning and Building for IOS tutorial.  I’m down to Creating Provisioning Files the Development section.

in my Developer account on apple in the Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles section, I’m showing I have 1 profile with the Active Status.  I’m trying to do the requirements in the paragraph below from the tutorial.

“Now you must install the profile on each device that you selected during the profile creation. Connect the device to your computer and Sync it from within iTunes. When it’s done, open the Xcode Devices window,  right-click  the device image in the left column, and select Show Provisioning Profiles… from the contextual menu. The new profile should appear in the list.”

I am using my iPad and I just sync’d with iTunes but when I open the Xcode Devices window, when I put the cursor on the IPAD, it shows the device information on the right side of the screen but nothing happens when I right-click on the device image in the left column.  I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong.

I would appreciate any suggestions.  I’m trying to download my game to my device to “test” the code I have so far.

Thanks,

Lori

I figured out the problem.   There must have been changes on the Apple side and the right click no longer works.  At the bottom of the left hand column is a cog wheel.   Click the cogwheel to select the provisioning files.

Thanks
