Published game designer looking to revamp late '12 version

Hi all,

I’m coming back looking to get an app that I had a blast putting together.  I took Joey Latimer’s Monster in the Marsh BASIC game and added a shop system and upgrades like Monster Spray, Camo, Home-ing Missiles, and Jet Shoes.  In staying with his original focus on good and bad events happening with 2/3 or 1/3 probabilities, the power-ups can work excitingly, suspensefully or not at all.  The game starts out very basic, but with the upgrade system, one random item from the player’s upgraded power-ups will show up at each step through the marsh with a 7% chance per tick upgraded, up to 91%.  This makes Hard mode, which is initially near impossible to clear, an exciting madcap dash to survive.

Looking at it, I can see it does need a free model, better graphics, one extra sound effect, custom difficulty, and a minor gameplay adjustment, but overall I’m still really happy with it and should have no problem getting it up to date for 2016.

If anyone has advice on how to proceed (whether to stay with the late 2012 release, or get current and gut TextCandy) I’d really appreciate it.
