I have a new app in development which needs kind of push notification. Since we
do not have this feature in Corona SDK I was looking to something similar and
found PubNub.
I tried this api in my project and it’s working well. My app is not a game so I need only
the possibility to post messages. The bad thing is, that your app has to be open, to
get the message. Ok, until we don’t have realy push notification I can live with this.
The strange thing is that the developer of the app is responsible for the bill.
I am writing my app for a company and this company is using a web interface to write
the messages to the users iPhone. So I have nothing to do later with the app nor the
web interface. How can I pay the monthly bill for the messages the company sends??
I was asking the support of PubNub and they said me it’s the best to use the FREE PubNub
version. Did anyone has experience what I have to put into the app to get the FREE version?
The description on their website is not very clear for me…

I am using the free version for one of my apps, the requirements that I was given were:

  1. I was an individual developer.
  2. I included the “Powered by PubNub” image in my app.
  3. I put something along the lines of “Powered by PubNub” in the app store description. [import]uid: 5833 topic_id: 17650 reply_id: 67158[/import]

Thank you for the fast answer, this makes it much more clear what I have to do
to get the free version of PubNub. I am too an individual developer so this will
