Pumped BMX joint

I was reading this blogpost about the development of Pumped BMX, and he says the following:

“Unfortunately I stumbled at the first block: the physics joints I needed to make my bike refused to work properly, which turned out to be a serious issue with Corona. I was screwed!”

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what the problem was?

Hi @hgbrian,

Without more information, I can’t really guess. Does he state which type of joint he tried to use? There are many physics joints available in Corona and Box2D, but getting them to work properly can be tricky… this is more the nature of Box2D than Corona, as the joint setup and property settings must be very specific and accurate, otherwise the behavior will be unpredictable and (at worst) unstable.

Best regards,

Brent

Thanks Brent,

he doesn’t give specifics. I forgot the link:
