Question about subscriptions, multiple computers

Hi, I have a couple questions that should be really easy to answer.

  1. I do not currently have a Mac, though I may buy one in the future. If I purchase the Android only subscription, and in a few months buy a Mac and wish to upgrade to Pro, do I only have to pay the difference in price?

  2. I make regular use of a desktop and a laptop, will I be able to use my enabled Corona on both after paying for one subscription?
    Thanks in advance! [import]uid: 78406 topic_id: 12841 reply_id: 312841[/import]

No. Once you buy the subscription, you can use one two computers at once. If you would like to change what computers your using, you can de authorize the simulator on that computer. In your case you can have corona on both your computers at once.

Hope that helps. [import]uid: 23689 topic_id: 12841 reply_id: 47100[/import]

Thank you Michael. If I understand correctly I can install Corona on both, then perhaps use it on my desktop, and then when I intend to work on my laptop can de-authorize Corona on my desktop so that I can then use it on my laptop. I then repeat the process to work on my laptop.

Sounds good.

Now I’m just wondering about the cost, I’d feel silly if the cost of one subscription went to waste in the event I buy a Mac in the near future. [import]uid: 78406 topic_id: 12841 reply_id: 47101[/import]

Corona makes it easier  you can have it both on your desktop and laptop at once , without switching anything. But, if you do have another laptop/ desktop (three computers) you want to use it on you need to de authorize one of them, then sign in on your simulator on that computer. Sorry if its confusing…

The cost? If you intend on marketing your app on both the android and IOS, you should get the 350$ deal. If you want them separate there 200$ each. Is that what your asking?

Currently I only have PCs, so if I buy a subscription real soon it will be only for Android (and cost me $199). But I might decide to buy a Mac soon, and then I would want the Pro subscription.

What I would like to know is if I can ‘upgrade’ an Indie subscription and pay the difference between Indie and Pro ($150) or if I have to pay the full Pro price ($349) even though I’ve already paid for Indie.

Thanks again ! [import]uid: 78406 topic_id: 12841 reply_id: 47112[/import]

Oh, Corona gives you only three options. Indie IOS, Indie Android and Pro with both. Sorry, but you cant get the difference :/… But really you don’t need to start buying the subscriptions until you finish your game, that’s the beauty of corona. So i would buy the Pro, if you dont want to loose 50$.If you do by each one separately it will cost 400$, no discounts.

Hope that answers your question. [import]uid: 23689 topic_id: 12841 reply_id: 47116[/import]

Yes it does.

Thanks again Michael, you’ve been very helpful =D
