Applying stroke to text would be amazing, it’s what I wondered when last wednesday FAQ about Graphics 2.0 mentioned, " object:setTextColor has been depreciated. Use object:setFillColor or object.fill = value instead."
If text objects are using setFillColor(), it’s likely they’ll have setStrokeColor() and .strokeWidth as well, at least I hope so.
Can anyone confirm this, please?
You can apply a stroke, but it impacts the entire box not the actual text itself. So as of 2010, it does not work. It would be beneficial to add this at http://feedback.coronalabs.com and vote it up.
Thank you Rob for clearing this up, I guess the feature request is: http://feedback.coronalabs.com/forums/188732-corona-sdk-feature-requests-feedback/suggestions/3575018-stroke-to-text
