Hi. I’m about ready to finish my game. I only have a few more days of development, and then polishing it up. I have a question about the Apple Developer Program though.
Is there a way to mass-produce iTunes redemption cards for your App? Codes that when entered into iTunes will download the app automatically. I’ve heard that you only get 50. It can’t be done. The only reason NG Moco apparently did it was because they are a major publisher and probably made some sort of deal with Apple. The only way you could do it is if you spent $1500 on gifting your app and then distributed the promo codes. Trust me, we would all love if they lifted the 50 code limit. Yes, you do get 50 more every time you update your app. That would take 30 updates :0
That would take about a year to do. lol
Anyway, I’m not sure if once you get promo codes for a new update, if you can use the codes for the old update. You might, I’m not sure though.
