Question about the change image of display.newImageRect

Is that possible to change image of display.newImageRect?

If Yes, can anyone give me some help.

I think when graphics 2.0 is released that has the ability to do this. 

At the moment, the only thing you can do is remove the existing object and put a new image in exactly the same place (it happens so quickly that it appears instant).
