Today Amazon announced the so-called Fire phone, which sounds reasonably high-end, and is available for delivery next month:

I tested a version of my forthcoming app (non-game, use of widget library, some use of physics) via Amazon’s developer site that lets you upload an APK:

I’m happy to say it worked: “Test Successfully Completed. We did not find any of the common issues that can prevent an app from being published to the Amazon Appstore”
So that answers that. The more interesting question, at least to me, is: Can Corona Enterprise customers fully access Amazon’s APIs that Jeff Bezos talked about at some length today? The full featureset is available only using Java, not C++.
Those APIs sound pretty interesting. According to the Amazon page: “Tilt, auto-scroll, swivel, and peek to navigate menus and access shortcuts with one hand. Dive into a new class of immersive apps and games—peek to see detailed views of clothing, shoes, and more in the new Amazon Shopping app for Fire phone, or take on a character’s viewpoint to see around corners and obstacles in games.”
There’s also a $5,000 developer credit for apps that meet the “additional program requirements” for the Fire phone, which I take to mean using these API features:

I know the Fire phone was just announced today, but some guidance from Corona would be useful.
