Hi

I have my app now on the Apple app store and am getting ready to put it on the Google play store. I have a couple of questions.

On the Apple store you can set a release date in the future for your app. Can you do the same on the Google play store? Can I submit an app today and set it to release in a month if I wanted?

My other question is, does the app go through an approval process in Google as it does with Apple? I got the impression from what I read that you just put your app up when it’s ready, and there’s no approval process.

Google apps go live the moment you submit them.  There is no review process unless they select your app for promoting, and then it’s reviewed after the fact.  There are a few hours before it gets propogated to all the servers and shows up in searches.  You can just release it when you’re ready.
