Quick questions about Google Play

  1. Is Google play cross platform on Amazon and IOS with corona sdk?
  2. If it is not is it planned at all?
  3. I see a blog post about leaderboards and achievements for Google play games, is there turn based or realtime multiplayer supported by corona sdk?

Currently, Google Play Game Services (GPGS, not to be confused with Google Play, their store app and provider of maps, admob and a bunch of other “Google features”), only support Google Play with Corona SDK.  I think it supports iOS if you use it natively, but for us is Google only.

Now Amazon sells regular Android phones that can have Google Play installed on them  Those devices will work with Google Play.  Their Kindle Fire family will not.  They only have the Amazon features installed.  I’m pretty sure that Amazon’s GameCircle can probably be installed on any old Android device too.
