Rainocubes

Hey there!

My wife and I have decided to give our video and photography career a break and start over in gaming world just two years ago by gathering the equipment, hiring an office and learning how to actually write a bunch of code to form a game :) Corona was our choice. Learning and creating led us to our first game, Rainocubes; a puzzler with retro style and simple yet deep gameplay.

Here is our announcement teaser (with sound assets borrowed from nintendo library to be replaced by fully original and great sound effects and music), I hope you enjoy it as much as we do and hope to see you soon when the game is delivered to app store, which is very soon  :) Please visit our Facebook & Twitter pages and join the conversation!

Nice, looks like a neat game.  Have you been working on this for 2 years now?

Well, not actually 2 years  We wanted to do this, i mean making games but didn’t know where to start. At first, tried solutions like gamesalad and build a playable version but the performance was poor as you can guess. Then we decided not toying around with that kind of “easy” stuff and start learning to write code, lua and Corona were perfect for us. When I was young my father and I made games for amiga so I wasn’t that far of the notion but it took some time to adjust after all those years

Looks nice. Cool graphic design. Look forward to trying it out!
