Ranking the most senior developers

Hi

I have come across a suggestion for corona helping community. The suggestion is that corona should introdcue a rank and point system (like stackoverflow) so that the people who are helping the community most should be distinguhsed from other persons and at least they know that they are getting recognized by community for particating in Q&A.it would also allow a healthy competition

And as i am new i dont know exactly maybe this system has already been introduced

Thanks

Rob Miracle would smoke us  On the other hand it may make his job easier if others become competitive.

Personally I don’t think we need to compete with each other helping other people out.

The Corona community always has been very helpful to other members, and everyone already values the contribution people make. Just my 2 cents.

I thought about this before but realised that when I’m stuck I don’t mind whether my reply comes from someone who is an expert or a beginner, as long as I get the answer eventually.

We should definitely have some kind of penalty system for replying to your own topic with “It’s ok now, I’ve fixed it” without saying how. Bringing back the guillotine springs to mind…

(oh and jonjonsson is right, Rob Miracle would be miles ahead of the rest of us).

As far as i think there is no harm in applying this method.Maybe somebody could agree and some not but at the end as far as i think it would make the helping community more helpful.
