Dear All,
I’m wondering is there any method inside corona sdk to read a bmp, jpg or png file content. I need to know the data of each pixel color. For PNG I need to know is it transparent.
Thanks in advance.

Hi KC,
At this time it’s not possible to read pixel RGBA data. However, this feature has been voted for by some users, and you might want to contribute your vote points as well if this is a feature you genuinely need.

He did John Junior? Where? Sorry.
Rob’s quote isn’t even related to this post, quite obviously. “Photo manipulation” is a broad term, and this post is specifically about “Reading A Pixel Inside Bmp, Jpg Or Png File”.
Thanks for your reply.
I just vote on that page. My idea is not related to photo manipulation. Mainly on Viusal effect for text and graphic.
