Rebuild functionality

I think during development, especially when revising and test on the hard device, it is quite annoying to having to re type the application name, etc every time.

Would be good if there is something like a project file where you can just press say command 8 to publish to iphone and command 5 to run simulator.

What do you guys think? [import]uid: 6066 topic_id: 1351 reply_id: 301351[/import]

The easiest workaround for this is to name the directory like your app. [import]uid: 5712 topic_id: 1351 reply_id: 3671[/import]

(edit)

Having the folder being the application name does nothing in that respect. The name is also pretty unimportant… Call it whatever you like. In testing that is…

You still have to choose the folder and retype the version every time. I requested automative revision bumping before. Those stuff could indeed made easier with a build file in the app-folder.

And after all you still have to drag it to the device… Shortening this process would be nice… Enhancing the simulator would be another option. I hate those “bla is not supported in the simulator” … For a text field … Lol?
All of that would be nice but I’d prefer any other open feature requests and bug fixing over that. [import]uid: 6928 topic_id: 1351 reply_id: 3676[/import]

Yes.

Well, I don’t think an advanced project feature is needed when there are tons of the in-game features/bugs still unavailable…

However, simply, for the build option to remember the previous build settings so that I can just press rebuild without having to type in everything again, everytime should save us, developers some time. This should not take a lot of corona team’s time away from the more important things. [import]uid: 6066 topic_id: 1351 reply_id: 3683[/import]
