Recommendations for Android smartphone?

I’ve only worked with iphones/ipads up to now, but we now have an app that we also want to sell into the android smartphone market.

So… I need to get myself an android smartphone for testing purposes.

Preferably not too expensive, unlocked, modern hardware, OS > 2.2, developer friendly, …

I haven’t done any research yet, and was hoping to kick-start this thru possible recommendations from this forum/community… please share your unbiased opinions.

I use several android phones for development and prefer the following for development:

Nexus one
Droid
Droid Incredible
