Record audio played by device

Hello, we’ve recently released a music creation app that is able to save information in a format that the app recognizes fine, however I was wondering if its possible to record a song as it plays and save it as an audio file that can be exported for external use. Any help would be appreciated.

No, you misunderstood. I do not want to record from the microphone, but rather record the audio played by the app.

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible at this time. Recording is only available from the microphone. What you need would be possible using Corona Enterprise, or it might be possible via a 3rd-party Plugin when the Plugin system goes fully into effect.
