Registering App For Facebook Developers

Hi,

I want to use Single Sign-On (SSO) to post messages, images to the users’ wall. I’m registered with our company account (only the company page, no other profile pages) for both Facebook and the Facebook Developers pages.

I looked my problem up from Google and people say that there is a “Create Application” or that sort of button somewhere but I can’t see it anywhere in the Facebook Developers page. Also, when I try to click on the “Apps” link above, Facebook redirects me to our company page without telling a reason.

Any help would be appreciated.

Is this the page you’re logging into on Facebook’s site?

https://developers.facebook.com/apps

I go there and I see a button in the top-right that says “Create New App”. Is this what you’re looking for?

Also, did you follow through the guide on setting up the Facebook Dev Portal settings? It should be useful for you:

Not sure what else I can suggest… since nobody else here responded (so far), this is probably something to pursue with Facebook or in the Facebook user forums. Sorry I can’t help any further.

I think the problem was caused by me, trying to create an app for the company page. I created a user account and the button became visible. Thank you for your time.
