Registering for Appodeal Ads without an App URL

Hi,

I just got my app into Beta testing and thought that I would be given an app URL. I now think that I won’t get one until my app is on the app store for distribution. This is where I see a problem…

I would like to register for and test Appodeal ads in my app before I release my app onto the app store. However, in order to register for Appodeal, I need my app URL. 

Do I need to first release my app onto the App Store, get my URL, and then send an update to the app store with my ads incorporated into the app? Or, do I already have an app URL that I somehow don’t know about? Any information on this will be helpful.

Hi @damichaels,

You should get app key(s) when you register with Appodeal, and then you can use those to test your Appodeal integration in Corona. Have you gone through the registration process fully?

You don’t need to specify your app URL when registering your app with Appodeal.

Thanks for the responses from both of you. Although Appodeal asks for an app URL when registering, you CAN register without providing it. I got caught up on this because it didn’t say “optional”. My bad!
