So built against 2014.2472 just now and Apple didn’t like it - said beta SDKs were not for distribution. Just went back to 2014.2468 and build for iOS 8.0 - All ok.
Checking with Engineering. This should be using the real iOS 8.1.

had the same issue building with.2472. Said either Xcode or iOS sdk was a beta version hence rejected by application loader after uploading.
