I’ve noticed that for the past several daily builds, the release notes have been very vague about the changes. Lots of “Maintenance” and “Physics maintenance” notes. It would be really helpful to get more detailed notes so that we know what to look out for in case of issues.

I keep looking for fixes to the delayed AdMob banner problem (reported bug) and no image attachment for Twitter on Android (reported bug).
This has been mentioned before!

Just guessing, but maybe it’s due to that they’re tweaking as of yet unreleased features / platforms
Isn’t that what a closed beta program might be for? The dailies should be fully understood and transparent for the eligible users who pay for the privilege. We shouldn’t be exposed to yet untested elements without at least being made aware of what they might be. Just my opinion of course.
… as I said, I’m just guessing.
I do agree though that the past few dailies have been shrouded in mystery leaving me to wonder what has been changed…
“Maintenance” is usually code for things that just wouldn’t make sense to us. For example, fixing a particular bug may end up changing or fixing core engine functions (stuff a level beneath what is “Corona-visible”). Sometimes building an app is like a pyramid, with every step built on top of three others. Often those uninteresting changes are enough to force a build, simply because there is a handful of people working on the same codebase.
Just my two cents…
