I would like to use an Android tablet as more or less a kiosk – mounted in an enclosure and used for just one app. In other words, although people can touch the screen, they can’t switch the app or perform any other kind of config / update. (Don’t want them to).
Is there a way I can remotely upgrade my app on the device? I’d like to be able to just push a new app version to the device from the HQ and have the update process automatically.
Not at all a strange thing to do with a general-purpose PC, server or laptop … but I haven’t been able to find anything about doing this with an Android tablet, phone or other device.
Any ideas? [import]uid: 10547 topic_id: 6568 reply_id: 306568[/import]
