I know everyone is wanting get pixel, and while I don’t want to slow down any effort there. I would like to request a replace RGB function.
I have a animated sprite that I would like to let the user change the hair color, skin color, shirt color, pants color, etc…
To use the fillcolor, my animated sprite would have to be broken apart for each item to recolor, grouped back together, and then time the now separate animations of each item back together.
It seems ansca has a long list of high priority things it needs to get accomplished.
(My vote is comprehensive documentation, with videos… which could be outsourced to reduce drag on development.)
(My second vote would be to clear up all the misleading old info, from docs, to 3rd party code that doesn’t work anymore… once again outsourced)
Am I missing any other simpler way of getting my animated sprites to have color changing function, that is not across the entire sprite?
Thanks,
