Turn off your wifi connection and attempt to login to openfeint. The first attempt results in a message that tells the user that they must be connected to the internet. The second attempt will not prompt the user with the same screen. The menu will become tinted and Openfeint will fail to load… [import]uid: 8702 topic_id: 8762 reply_id: 308762[/import]

I have reproduced this bug as well. It happens to my app with openfeint enabled and even the users are sending me emails regarding this issue. [import]uid: 12979 topic_id: 8762 reply_id: 51755[/import]
on what OS do you experience this?
because I can’t reproduce it on my iPad with iOS 4.3.5 [import]uid: 70635 topic_id: 8762 reply_id: 51761[/import]
I reproduced on iPod touch 4 with iOS 4.3.3.
This is my steps of reproducing it, which is ‘accidentally’:
- The app is installed for the first time (or delete and install again), so that the openfeint pop out will occur.
- I accidentally connected to a very slow WiFi connection, so that means my device is in the state of “Connected WiFi” but no/slow internet connection.
- I launched the app, it stuck at the launch screen or Default.png.
After that, I close the app, changed to the correct WiFi connection. The openfeint pop out smoothly for the first time as usual when you installed an openfeint app.
Another steps to solve this is to disable the WiFi and relaunch the app.
This is very critical some users might experience the same situation like me. Especially when they are connected to a slow public WiFi connection. That is what they reported to me. [import]uid: 12979 topic_id: 8762 reply_id: 51764[/import]
