Requirements: Windows 8.1 (64-bit Pro version is need for Windows Phone emulator support)

This is the only requirement that gives me a bit headache.

Any suggestion what are the options and your experiences.

Currently using Windows 7 OS.

Dual boot ? Virtual machine?

Actually that is a Windows Phone SDK requirement has really nothing to do with Corona, you can use VM to build Win/Phone apps using VS 2013 etc. I am not a big fan of VM for dev machines but that is just me.
