[Resolved] Application Loader Error - application wrapper must end in .app

I am trying to upload my app to Apple using the Application Launcher.

I received this error

application wrapper must end in .app

The application wrapper must end in .app. /var/folders/z1/p0nsz_4s4vl_kv884pcsspb00000gn/T/SassysEasterAdventure.zip/SassysEasterAdventure is invalid

Application Launcher 2.5.1 ( 235 )

I have the required ICONS, etc…

Anyone have any clue.

Hey Larry,

What version of Xcode and Corona are you using? Am not familiar with this error myself but will pass it on and any extra info you can provide would be very useful for us.

I am not at that computer right now but, it is the latest version - I updated it a week or so ago. I checked for updates and it was the latest one.

Anyone have a clue on this, so far I’m stumped and I can not complete my apple app submission.

Have you tried with an older version of application loader?

I did some research but didn’t find anything worthwhile, never heard of this error before today

well actually there are several blogs with this error but none fit my exact issue.

But I figured it out - YEHA - ok you ready for this. I am using Yemu Zip to zip the file, it has an option for MAC or PC - well being im on a mac and submitting to the Apple Store one would think you should select MAC - Ohhhh no. I changed it to PC and bam - I like that file - but now I have a new error to research

Application Failed CodeSign Verification, The signature was invalid, contains Disallowed Entitlements, or it was not sighned with an IPHONE Distribution Certificate.

Well It’s mainly for the IPAD but I do have IPHONE sized images so i need to check this out more… anyone have any suggestions?

ok figured this out.

I was not using a Distribution Profile. I had only had Developer
