[RESOLVED] Can someone change my forum username?

I found a setting in the Account section and changed it to ananasblau but that didn’t change displayed name here in the forum. Can someone help me with this?

Hello,

I should be able to change this for you. Before I do, can you confirm:

  1. change only the display name to “ananasblau” ?

  2. also change the login name to “ananasblau” ?

Both would probably be logical, but I want to confirm so you don’t have any issues trying to log in under a previous name or something…

Hi,

is there another way of changing the display name except via the support staff? Because I’d really like to have changed my forum display name to “marcar” if possible.

Hi Martin,

I’ve changed your forum display name to “marcar”, but your login credentials should remain the same. Just FYI, the forum display name (in cases where the user wants it changed) is somewhat separate from the Corona login credentials, which are tied to the overall account… so that’s an Admin-only task. :slight_smile:

Hmm, I see the change to “marcar” in my profiles history, but apparently my post still show up with the old username. Could you please have a look? Thanks!

Odd, it seems to have reverted. Maybe because I changed only the display name but not the login name too (for the forums). Do I have your permission to change both to “marcar”, same as @ananasblau requested in this thread?
